SNOW IN TEXAS!?!?! SAY WHAT?

We heard yesterday that we were going to have slow...but I was skeptical! When we woke up this morning I heard Aaron say there was already an inch or two of snow outside! The kids still had school...(but Jocelyn was let out early).

Addison has been home sick this whole week with a yucky stomach bug...so instead of going outside with the kids...she was watching them out the window!

I got the idea of the ruler from someone in Virginia...I heard that the record one day snowfall in the Metroplex was 7.8 inches...I heard it has snowed more than 6.5 today...but my ruler says 5 inches!

Taylore started with a lazy snowman...but it ended up being a fort.

Addie must have snuck past me...because I looked outside and there she was...still in her PJ's, no shoes, no jacket...I let her stay there long enough to take the picture! Then she came in and sat by the fireplace!

My Trip To Utah....

Just before I had to go back to school for Spring Semester, I was able to make a quick trip out to Utah to visit the newest Chalmers baby! Scott & Jenny adopted Paige Ashley over Christmas...I was so excited to go see her!

I spent the first night at Paul and Marcia's house....It was SO much fun...the kids had my UNDIVIDED attention...and I LOVED being with them! I was sad to leave there house the next morning...but I got to see them again on Saturday night when we went to their house to play games!

On Saturday and Sunday I stayed with Jenny & Scott; I was very selfish and held Paige almost the entire time! It was so much fun...she is the sweetest baby...I really didn't hear her cry pretty much the whole time I was there!

Saturday night we were able to get together with all the adults that were there in Utah, we went out to dinner at Olive Garden...unfortunately I didn't get a picture!

Monday just before I left we went to lunch with Paul & Marcia and the kids, Scott, Jenny & Paige, and Mom and Dad. Mom and Dad were still at Scott and Jenny's so I was lucky to get a little bit more time with them before they left for Columbia....(even though they are still not gone!)
