More Random Thoughts...

So as I was finishing up my third hour of folding laundry last week something dawned on me...I had to take some pictures and add it to the blog for memory sake...here was the epiphany... In not enough years from now; I am going be WISHING that I had three hours worth of laundry to be folding! Notice my friend Vincent D'Onofrio in the background...he's kept me company during many laundry folding sessions over the past 10 years!

Sone day you will miss the kids that go along with the folding, but I really doubt you will miss the folding per say. I vividly remember one day when I rushed home from work in Utah, ran to a cub scout meeting, then ran to a performance at the high school and thinking as I thought of all I had to do that night, "some day I will miss having to rush from thing to thing" I do miss having all of that to do with you kids, but mostly because I miss you kids. That is probably why I bug you so much on the phone, that is my one contact with you and your blogs for which I am very happy. On my birthday one of the sisters said what age would you go back to, asking all and then she said I would go back to after the kids were raised but I didn't have the aches and pains. I thought I love where I am right now, but if I could go back to an age it would be when we still had kids at home. Even with the challenges those were wonderful years and I will always cherish those memories. Sorry it's so long.

You just have to remind yourself how much laundry your very own mother did every single day!

Thats quite impressive. Sadly I think my laundry looks like that too. How can such little people create so much laundry! I swear when I fold clothes, the kids have twice as much as Paul and I.

Funny, you should think that!! As I was getting mad that the house was such a mess, in the same breath, trying to convince myself to be happy I was telling Adam, "I need to be happy that I have a mess and a lot of kids instead of a clean home and no kids!!!
