So we had another first of what we hope to be many, many many on Aaron's birthday! We were able to have a "family birthday party"...yes, more than just the six of us Moody's...we had a table full of Moody's and Funk's! It was so great to be able to be together for Aaron's birthday. The kids had their Primary Program at church; everybody came to watch that...(and I might add that it was rather hillarious that Addison was trying to do the "Hook 'Em Horns" sign from the stand...she didn't get it exactly right, so people probably thought she was signing "I Love You", but we all knew! Anyhow, after the program we went out to dinner to Pappasitas; a nice Mexican Restaurant in Arlington...once we finally got our food it was pretty darn good! But it was nice to be all together...No longer how LONG IT TOOK~! Then Jocelyn made sure and let them know that it was Aaron's birthday...so they came and put the sombraro (sp)... on Aaron and sang him Happy Birthday!
While we waited someone making the tortillas gave all the kids a little ball of dough...they had a blast with it!
After dinner we came back to the house and had Aaron's favorite dessert...Banana Split Cake! I even found 35 candles to put on it! It took so long to light the candles we all ended up with blue wax in our cake!
You can't really tell from this picture...but it was hillarious how much smoke there was...and the kids reaction to it!
Happy Birthday, honey! We love you...you are the BEST!
