I have started to have to face the reality that my baby girl is growing up...she reminds me daily that she is now a "High Schooler"...I think often about the fact that in a few short months she will be learning how to drive...I don't really remember learning how to drive...which tells me I must have blocked it out (although I'm sure my parents remember it well!!!)...I do however remember my brothers and sisters learning how to drive! I decided maybe it will be a good thing for Jocelyn to be a little bit comfortable behind the wheel before she actually starts driving (I realize that makes NO sense whatsoever...if she is behind the wheel she is already driving...) Anyhow...I decided as I noticed the almost empty parking lot at Target tonight that she could drive a hundred feet and certainly it wouldn't hurt anything! She was SHOCKED when I asked her if she wanted to.... Make a long story short...it's a good thing that the car was in neutral when I told her to barely tap the gas...all I heard was the engine revving, and when she did get it into drive it was a good thing nobody was behind us (and we had our seat belts on to stop us from hitting the windshield) when I told her to tap the brake! In the end I think she will have a fond memory of her first time "driving", every one and the car survived unharmed, and we came out of it laughing!

Wow, I am sure that she will cherish the memory!
Don't you remember the first time you drove home from church, Dad sitting in the back sit with his down in his lap covering his face?
O.k. so I am looking at all your posts for the first time in a while. Is that pool in your back yard? WOW if it is!! I love the posts! I love your family picture! It made me sad that your family isn't within driving distance seeing all the pictures.
