Mother's Day was fabulous. The kids and Aaron brought me breakfast in bed; I was expecting yogurt (that's what I eat every day for breakfast) and the girls surprised me with a nice warm breakfast of scrambled eggs with veggies. It was actually really good. All of the kids gave me cards and letters, and then we were lazy for a little bit before we had to all jump up and get ready for church.
At church I am usually in the nursery, however, for Mother's Day the men in the ward take over the women's calling, so I was able to go to Relief Society and Sunday School! I thoroughly enjoyed it; which is a new development, because in the past I would do just about anything to get out of either of those meetings.
After church Jason Myers came by with a couple of his Cadettes to visit. He is on his annual trip that he makes with the Utah State ROTC, he brings a group of students to do a historical tour of the sites in Virginia and Maryland. He visited at the house for a little bit, then Aaron and I went to dinner with them! It was REALLY yummy.
