One would think that a haircut and hairbows go together, right?

I have some AMAZING friends, today two of them dropped what they were doing to help me out in a last second want (I would say need; I wish I could say need; but I have to say it was just for a want!) You see; last night Addison was given the most adorable cheerleading outfit! I thought to myself, "Self, what would top this outfit off more than two beautiful burnt orange and white bows in Addison's hair! So I called Erin first thing to find out if she had ever seen Texas Longhorn ribbon in her many ribbon shopping outing! She was sure I could find the right color, but probably not the name "Longhorns". I ran to the store, found the right color ribbons and ran to Erin's house! She helped me (actually she did it all) make the most beautiful bows for Addison! We put them in her pigtails and it topped off the outfit better than I could have imagined! Thank you, Erin. Addison looked SO adorableand today! This is the point that the next picture should be of Addison in her adorable outfit with her adorable bows...however, Addison got a little bit of chocolate on her outfit; so I decided to wait until tomorrow to give everyone the full effect with the finished product.....HOWEVER.....this is where the second talented friend that dropped what she was doing comes in!!!!
Aaron, Mat and I decided to run to dinner this evening and leave the kids home with Jocelyn, no problem, right, we try to do that once a week or so. The kids called us at dinner a few times and seemed to be having some problems; so we decided to run home and take care of things before we went to pick up a few things at the store! We came home to this............................................
The very first thought that popped into my head was "WHY DIDN'T I TAKE THE PICTURE TODAY!!" Addison never did like me putting her hair in ponytails; well she decided tonight to fix it so that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to put her hair in ponytails for quite some time! The next thing I thought was, get the camera; this has to be documented for a time that it will be a funny! I proceeded to call Heather, who dropped what she was doing to see if she could fix the disaster that I call "Addie doing her own hair"! I must say; she did a fabulous job! Thank you, Heather!

Oh, and one last thing, Erin, have no worries, your time this morning was not spent in vain; the bow will still work! That was the first thing I checked when I got home!
Erin & Heather thanks for being such wonderful friends ALWAYS; and especially in my selfish moments, like today!

Can Addie ever NOT look cute? We have been waiting, as a family, to see the new haircut. Truman's response, was, "She does not look like a boy, she still looks like Addie." Macall LOVES the new haircut and I am hoping is not inspired to do anything similar to herself. I think we are past that stage.
Oh, the hair!!!! Tragic, yet so cute!!!!
By the way, the bow is cute, too. But I am still allergic!
No worries, she looks beautiful! They both did such a great job between the bows and the haircut. They are great! My sister did the same thing and I remember my mom wanting to die...her hair didn't turn out that cute!
