House Hunting Trip

Some day I'll add more details about the house-hunting trip. But for now...the flight to Mansfield was smooth sailing; no problems getting there...We spent a SOLID THREE DAYS...looking for a home; after a LONG couple of days we finally found THE ONE! Mat and Emily were with us the ENTIRE time; it was so nice to have them with us all the way! They are doing all the dirty work over the next couple of weeks; walk through; inspection; ect...We are very excited and can't wait to share pictures with everyone in a couple of weeks when we move in. When the long exhausting part of the weekend was over and we had shown the kids THE HOUSE; Emily and I raced over to Baskin Robbins (where Jason works) to get them ice cream before Mat, Emily, Aaron and I headed to see "Jersey Boys"! The kids thought it was pretty darn cool to have their cousin serving their ice cream at Baskin Robbins (I see a tradition in the making)! Sunday evening at Baskin Robbins (or whatever afternoon he is working)! The amount of time that passed between these two pictures was about 2-3 minutes; Jason was helping a customer so he couldn't come over to get in the picture! I told the kids to keep smiling until he could come over...can you tell by the second picture it was getting old! It was worth it in the end; what a fun picture! Then it was off to Jersey Boys @ The Dallas Music Hall; but first a YUMMY dinner at a Seafood restaraunt! It was VERY good! The play was awesome! It is the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons! It had lots of great music. We got home late from the play; but not too late for Emily and I to take a drive around Mansfield; she was helping me get my head around the roads and all! It will take a while for me to get everything straight; but I know the most important directions...how to get from their house to ours and from our house to theirs! :) After staying up and chatting with Emily until about 2 a.m.; it was up the next morning to pack and head to the airport. Every child at some point Monday morning asked if we could just stay in Texas! I think that if there was any way possible; we would have stayed there and had our stuff sent to us. It did not feel like we were going home! It felt like we were leaving home! We head back to Texas around the 20th of August! We are so excited for that!
