What You've Missed - June 6th - Haden's Kickball & Pizza Day

The last week of school (thoughout all of history, I'm sure) is typically a joke! They have absolutely no purpose to be in school; except to fill in those last few days on the calender so they can count it as a full year! Well on the last full Friday of the year (the last three days; Wed, Thurs, and Friday are half days) the third grade has a kickball day and pizza for lunch. They even made up their own matching T-shirts for each class. Haden's class was the Purple Dragons! (I think) Addison and I went for the start of the first game; it was pretty hot and yucky outside; and they wouldn't let me or Addison help; so Addison was going a little crazy; but it was lots of fun to watch the whole class out on the field trying to play a good clean game of kickball! It was funny watching the teacher try and talk them into not being competitive and really being good sports!
